AS A RESULT OF MEMBERSHIP IN THE PANHELLENIC COMMUNITY AT BOWLING GREEN STATE UNIVERSITY, WOMEN WILL BECOME ENGAGED AND HOLISTIC MEMBERS OF SOCIETY.
The Panhellenic Council is largest women's organization at BGSU and serves as the governing body for the 11
National Panhellenic Conference member organizations on our campus. The purpose of this Council is stated in its Code of Ethics:
We, the undergraduate members of the Panhellenic Council at Bowling Green State University, unanimously agree to promote honesty, respect, and sisterhood through adherence to the National Panhellenic Conference Unanimous Agreements as well as the Constitution and Bylaws established by the BGSU Panhellenic Council. We agree to uphold ourselves to the highest possible standards of social excellence and strong character while not engaging in conduct unbecoming of Panhellenic women. Recognizing that we represent all fraternal organizations, we strive through thought, word, and action to uphold the traditions, fine standards, and values long held by Panhellenic women and to encourage friendly relations among all collegians. Additionally, we acknowledge that the strength and betterment of our Panhellenic community necessitates commitment to academic excellence, social responsibility, leadership, and service to our community and campus. These are the ideals that will establish a legacy for future generations of Panhellenic women at Bowling Green State University.
