The Greek Housing Project kick started in October of 2010 as a series of conversations discussing the prevalent trends in the Greek community and housing nationally. These conversations ultimately aided in finding ways to enhance the experience of around 1,500 fraternity and sorority chapter members here at BGSU. The project blueprint emerged into three phases to be completed by 2016.
Phase I: Understanding the current state of the fraternity and sorority programs at BGSU and ultimately comparing those to the ideal examples across the nation.
Phase II: Outlining and deciphering what new requirements the community will entail, balancing desired amenities along with rental cost and designing a layout that will fit campus.
Phase III: Partnering with the right company to make this dream a reality and complete construction.
There will be three layouts for chapters to choose from: 4 beds, 12 beds and 18 beds
All detailed information regarding the Greek Housing Project can be found on the BGSU website.
